The Common Ground Framework equips educators with foundational competencies in cultural awareness, mental health and trauma-aware practices, and technological/virtual engagement to support diverse learners—from those experiencing homelessness or food insecurity to military-connected students and others who face unique challenges. As guidance (not a mandate), it aims to foster inclusive, responsive learning environments across preparation, induction, and professional development programs.
